How Do I Fill the Void Inside?

I'm doing my best to be a good person. Why do I feel so empty? Why are my moments of joy so few and far between? Why do I have to work harder and harder just to feel happy?
Can you relate to the above questions?

Many of us have to face the fact at some point that the things we went to for satisfaction and fulfillment could not permanently satisfy us.

Relationships, physical pleasure, career success, political power, beauty, fame, family, friends, and yes, religion, have left us feeling momentary highs, followed by crushing emptiness.

Is this all there is?

Friend, we can confidently assure you that there is much, much more.

You were made for more.

That satisfaction you've been seeking is available to you through a daily, deepening relationship with Jesus Christ.

He designed us to know Him, to talk to Him, and to relate to Him as the most important person in our lives.

We drift and distance ourselves from our relationship with God when we try to satisfy ourselves in other ways. We lose our trust in God when we forget His Word, His promises and His character.

But when we come to Jesus each day, being honest and vulnerable with Him and being willing to let Him lead, we can experience a deeper bond with Him, we will receive peace that passes understanding (Philippians 4:7), and we will see results in our lives that are beyond what we can ask, think or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

Please join us for worship this Sunday to celebrate what our God has done and is continuing to do in His Kingdom. We meet at Artserve, 1350 E. Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, 33304. Doors open at 10:15 a.m., and service begins at 10:30 a.m.

We hope to see you soon!
