Does God Care About My Problems?

Have you ever wondered where God was in your trial? Perhaps you're not sure if God is willing to hear your prayers or give you the help you need.

Though your doubts may be strong and loud, we encourage you to cling to the Bible's promises to remind yourself that God has always been there, has always cared, and will be with you always.

Here are just a few examples:

1. " Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." [1 Peter 5:6-7]

2. "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
    and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
    and the flame shall not consume you." [Isaiah 43:2]

3."Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'" [Hebrews 13:5]

God offers us plenty of blessings in our trials and tribulations-- compassion, strength, peace, and much more. He hears our cries, and He also speaks if we are still before Him to listen.

Here are three applications that can help you see how God cares for you:

Pray: Ask God to show you how He cares. Open scripture and be open to receiving confirmation of God's personal love for you throughout your day.

Connect: Talk about what you've been going through with a mature believer that you trust. Maybe they've experienced something similar and can share with you how God met them in their trial.

Act: Do your part in your situation, whatever is in your control, and let God do the rest. Keep track of God's blessings throughout your journey so that you will be able to share your testimony with others.

Please join us for worship this Sunday to celebrate what our God has done and is continuing to do in His Kingdom. We meet at Artserve, 1350 E. Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, 33304. Doors open at 10:15 a.m., and service begins at 10:30 a.m.

We hope to see you soon!
